What the BPScan is
BPScan is a veterinary blood pressure monitor using high-definition oscillometry, measuring pressure non-invasively (NIBP). It shows the oscillometric waveform in real time, letting you assess signal quality before trusting the number, and accurately computes systolic, mean and diastolic pressures, even in smaller patients (< 5 kg).

What is high-definition oscillometry?
It is the non-invasive method that records pressure oscillations as the cuff deflates. In high definition, you follow the measurement curve live, with the systolic, mean and diastolic markers, instead of trusting only the final number.
What is the measuring range of the BPScan?
From 20 to 280 mmHg, with 1 mmHg resolution.
What is the difference between BPScan and BPScan S?
The BPScan S is the compact version, with a USB-C connection. Both use the same INpulse One.
Where do I see the results?
In INpulse One: curve, values and history go into the patient record. During monitoring, NIBP also feeds the digital anesthetic chart.
What affects measurement quality?
As in all veterinary oscillometry, choosing the cuff appropriate to the patient size and correct positioning are essential for accuracy.
